GVSP Momentum Microgrants
Do you have a time-sensitive opportunity that would support actionable solutions to gun violence? The UVA Gun Violence Solutions Project (GVPS) Momentum Microgrants are available to provide limited funds for immediate needs that are too important to pass up.
The GVSP Research Subcommittee invites proposals for time-sensitive projects on a rolling basis until June 1, 2026 or all the funds are dispersed.
This funding is intended for immediate use opportunities with windows that will close in the near future. If your project is not time-sensitive, we recommend you apply for the GVSP seed grants.
Grant Details
The Momentum Microgrants are intended to support time-sensitive opportunities for firearm violence prevention projects for up to $10,000. The number of proposals supported and the total amount of support will depend on the number and quality of proposals received. Funding will be available to qualifying proposals until all funds are dispersed. Applications may be declined, partially awarded, or fully awarded. There will be another round of Momentum Microgrants in Fall 2026.
